We are praying for you. Do not loose hope. God has taken you this far and nothing is impossible for HIM.
I have known quite a few people who have been cancer survivors, some have gone through treatment and in some cases without treatment, it just went away. Like I said, don't loose hope. Try out the options that a lot of the folks have suggested on this forum and continue praying.

We all morons wont still learn, we will still start prediting for next visa bulletin hoping that a reincarnation of god will ome and deliver us visa numbers.
Unless we all make a collective effort no one is going to listen to us. I know the fate of my post we all people are busy to get our post noted or express our opinion that we have lost our fous of what our main problem is. I think we deserve this perhaps I dont think if we continue like this we even deserve GCs.

I did cate 2 FP and received LUDs on I-765 and I-485 but when I received the EAD card, it said FP is not available. Based on that I assumed the FP was only I-485 related.

I think IV should make it mandatory for $25/monthly charge for all the folks.
At least we can get rid of the dual-nature of 'helping you, only a little bit' sort of tendency.
However, there should total transparency once people pay. I see some guys are frustrated for lack of information despite them being donors.

Two things
1. Consultant can be part of job title and/or duties. Key thing is that job must be permanent and full-time.
2. PERM can only be filed for job that are permanent and full time.

I know that , I had a rebuttal for consultant does not constitute employer employee relationship argument. It does not for the end client but does for the agency or consulting co.

Holy cow... I cannot believe, I got my green card today...
My online case status changed to card production ordered today (1 hour ago).
I had filed during july fiasco and was not abel to send my medical tests , so had got RFE.
Then i took the medicals and sent the response in july 2009, and the status remained RFE response received for a long time.
I called NSC and opened a service request on Aug 18.
Guys believe me Service Request does miracles, they just approved it now.
So my journey came to an end after 7 years.
If I got green card, the whole credit goes to IV. You guys are really great, learnt a lot from this forum. Kudos to you all...
I will continue to visit these forums and help as much as I can.
I still cannot believe I got it.

I guess affected class should make an impact visible enough for people to realize they cant let us down.
Example : keeping all our savings and checking cash in our country banks. This will not provide free money to local banks.
Lets say
500k people pulling out 25k each. Thats a big sum. Its just investing our money in our country bcos we DONT expect GCs!
Also buy airtickets from broker from your home country which will benefit your country getting the sales tax!... so on.
I have nothing against anyone. I am just saying how we can assert our importance.

What standards are you talking about? All the universities in the US are standard and all are non-standard at the same time. There are no legally accepted ways to define what is standard. Also, the GMAT or GRE or TOEFL are not necessarily indicators of admitting brilliant students. Several ABET accredited departments in engineering schools do not require GRE scores! And yet they are ABET accredited. So this argument makes little sense. (Somehow I think, we've discussed this before :))
As purgan pointed out, the market forces have made this a great country. Even if you have an MS or Ph.D., but if you have no job, you are not going to get a GC; but that has always been the case. I don't know that you can get a job by paying a desi consultant 20K. If that is happening, the law will take corrective action, as it invariably does in this country fortunately. So there is no reason to worry about that provision in the SKIL bill.
But I do agree that it may be easier to get something like doubling the number of GCs temporarily, rather than a blanket provision, passed. (That is like increasing the queue capacity during rush hour and bringing it back to normal levels when the traffic intensity reduces.) But if we increase the H1B quota and only double the number of GCs, we will have an intractable situation.

spouse's priority date will be the same as primary priority date.
We are discussing about quota here.
Lets say I have PD of Aug 2007 and If govt makes me to file under EB and my wife under FB. When date becomes current in EB ( which has higer probability ) I will be able to file but my wife will not.

having been in the US since 2001, losing out my LC/PD to the dot-com bust and finally ending up with a PD of 2006, I second that. PD should be based on number of years of experience or years of stay in the US or amount of taxes paid till now or something like that.
In any case what we WANT is very different from what we usually get from this immigration system and there are bigger more important battles for IV to fight. Look, if there is no retrogression PD almost does not matter!! THATS the right fix. END RETROGRESSION!
