I know a lot of people might have suggested you different things for your well being.I would really like to suggest to please try Ramdev's yoga.If possible plan a trip to India and attend a camp.Several thousand people with chronic illnesses for which medical science had apparently no cure,have fully recovered .I would really suggest you to try:http://divyayoga.com/main.htm
May be you can subscribe to Aastha channel.They show interviews of people who have recovered from last stages of cancer.

I have a unique position. couple of weeks back I was told that have fatal cancer and won't live pass 4-6 months. After recovering from initial shock I am wondering if my wife will be able to continue her american dream or she will have to head home after me.
I have filed 485 with approved 140 back in june, 2007 with PD of March, 2003

I agree with kshitijnt that you need past employer more than you need client. In my case I had received 485 query to supply some my employment related docs ( whether that I am working with responser or working with someone else, letter from company showing my current position,sal. etc). Since I didn't change my employer, it was very easy and quick to get such documents from current employer. Imagine if I would have switched on EAD then I would have to chase my past employer for letters, paystubs etc and by the I would got them from past employer,I faced the risk of PD moving back.
Your case is different becasue you filed your I-485 with them. Here he has not started 485 at all.I don't know how he can maintain good relation with them. Some employer are too torugh to deal and same goes with some employees too.

Move fast and hold a rally or send out flowers to Obama administration for their racism towards immigrants.
Act fast, I know 20th is close, think about is as an emergency
Now is the time to really take this to the next level and push for real changes to employment-based processing. Or you can simply accept the reality that you have to wait ten years longer than everyone else to get a green card

BTW, for that poster who was imagining a single line, open your eyes buddy. There are indeed two lines. Higher qualifications gets you into the shorter one. You can fret and whine all you want but you cant change the fact.

EB2-India with May 2005 PD and before : All will be out before May 2010 with some residuals in NC. One thing I am sure, EB2/3-India with PD 2006 and afterwards should not start working on EAD and will have to hold on to H1.
PDs with 2006 and onwards - both for EB2/3 - Unpredictable and scary assuming no change in current immigration policies.

I am not sure if I am correct,
Although no. of visas are awarded "EB category + country" wise, but spillover is not awarded in same fashion.
.e.g. 3000 visa comes to EB2 I & 3000 visa comes to EB3 I.
But spillover comes from EB1 to EB2 irrespective of country. And reason why EB2 I is far ahead is because of spillover gain before it reaches to EB3.
Even if some EB2 I guys are not happy with EB3 person porting to EB2, shouldn't they calm down as whoever is porting taking benefit from spillover for EB2 world and not from spillover EB2 I.
My assumption is spillover comes to "EB2" and not "EB2 + country" wise, if that is not correct then my point is nullified.
